Overview

The Rinnai RX180 steps up to 180,000 BTU and up to 10 GPM, giving a busier home more hot water at once without a storage tank. At a real-world 60°F temperature rise it still delivers about 5.8 GPM, enough to run a couple of fixtures together. Efficient (0.98 UEF) with a 15-year heat exchanger warranty.

Repairs are the part nobody budgets for. This is the real difference between renting and owning.

Arctic ComfortRent it, fully serviced

Breakdowns, parts and service calls, for the whole plan, apart from the exceptions in the rental agreement such as damage or misuse. Then it is yours to keep.

Covered by the manufacturer’s warranty from day one, on the manufacturer’s terms, once you register it. Add Arctic Protect and we cover breakdowns for 5 years, up to the plan’s limits.

Manufacturer warranty terms are set by the manufacturer and shown in the specifications below. On a rental, Arctic registers the manufacturer warranty for you; if you buy, you register it with the manufacturer yourself, and we give you the model and serial numbers. Arctic Protect is $14.99 a month plus HST on a purchase and covers breakdowns for 5 years.

  • Your monthly rental adjusts once a year, on the anniversary of your install. Increases are nominal in nature and tied to CPI and Arctic’s annual surcharge. The exact amount for every year is set out in your agreement before you sign. Purchase and financed prices do not change. How the annual adjustment works
  • The 30-day trial applies to rentals only. Financed and outright purchases do not include a trial. The 30 days run from the day your equipment is installed, not from the day you order, and the trial does not apply to new home installations arranged through a builder, where the equipment comes to you through your Agreement of Purchase and Sale.   • The buy-out price follows a fixed schedule set on the day you sign: a percentage of the installed price for each year of the term, never below the minimum in your schedule, plus HST. It drops every year and never rises. If you sell your home, the new owners can take over the rental once they accept the agreement and your account is paid up to date. Buying out or transferring
