What it costs, and what is in the price.
Every Arctic price covers the equipment, professional installation, and taking the old unit away. There are no add-ons discovered on install day, every install is done by licensed professionals, and financing comes straight from Arctic.
Why we do not publish a price list
Because the honest price depends on your home. The same water heater costs a different amount to install in a townhouse with an easy basement run than in a semi where the venting has to be rerouted. A published number would be either padded to cover the worst case, or a bait figure that grows once somebody visits. Neither is how Arctic sells.
What we will promise is a complete quote. It is fixed before you commit, and nothing is added on install day. On a rental, rates adjust once a year on your install anniversary*, and every year’s payment is listed in your agreement before you sign. - Structural or venting changesRare, and always quoted up front after a technician has looked. Never added on the day.
The numbers we can give you today
Over 3 to 10 years, with no down payment, and it may be subject to a credit check. The annual percentage rate is a little higher, because it includes the one-time $215.60 PPSA registration fee.
How financing works →Plus HST. Priority service and covered repairs on equipment you own, 5 years old or newer. Runs 60 months, then billing stops. Not sold with a rental, because a rental already includes it.
On a rental, if the equipment is not right, we make it right or take it back with no fees. Financed and outright purchases do not include a trial. The 30-day rental trial does not apply to new home installations arranged through a builder.
If you rent, the buy-out price is set on day one
Your rental agreement carries a fixed buy-out schedule: a price for each year, agreed the day you sign and never changed afterwards. It falls every year. You can see today’s figure any time in your customer portal, and if you keep renting to year 15 the equipment becomes yours at no extra cost.

- Your monthly rental adjusts once a year, on the anniversary of your install. Increases are nominal in nature and tied to CPI and Arctic’s annual surcharge. - The 30-day trial applies to rentals only. Financed and outright purchases do not include a trial. The 30 days run from the day your equipment is installed, not from the day you order, and the trial does not apply to new home installations arranged through a builder, where the equipment comes to you through your Agreement of Purchase and Sale. - The buy-out price follows a fixed schedule set on the day you sign: a percentage of the installed price for each year of the term, never below the minimum in your schedule, plus HST. - Prices include the equipment, professional installation and removal of your old unit, plus service and repairs on a rental, apart from the exceptions in the rental agreement such as damage or misuse. HST applies on top of the prices shown. What is included in a price
- A rental or a financed purchase may be subject to a credit check, as your agreement explains. Arctic finances its own customers directly, and there is no application fee.
