Ontario heat pump rebates in 2026, explained
Ontario has supported high-efficiency heat pumps through programs run with utilities and government. Programs, amounts, and eligibility change over time, so always confirm the current details before you count on a rebate.
The Home Renovation Savings program
A joint Enbridge and IESO program has supported heat-pump upgrades for eligible Ontario homes. The amount depends on the system and is subject to change, so check the official program pages for the current figures and deadlines rather than relying on a number you saw once.
What affects eligibility
Eligibility usually depends on your home, the equipment’s efficiency rating, and sometimes a home energy assessment. A licensed professional who works with these programs can tell you what likely applies to your situation.
How Arctic helps
We install cold-climate heat pumps sized for GTA winters and can point you to the programs that are live when you upgrade. We don’t promise any specific rebate amount. We help you check what you actually qualify for.
